What brand of paint do you use for painting racecars and where do you purchase it from?
--I've always used the cheap paint from o'reillys, but priced a gallon yesterday and its went up to about $90.00......... just wondering if anyone has a source for cheap paint, its only going on a racecar!!!! LOL
Please give your opinions and past experiences--good and bad! THANKS

Get the kiddos out there with cans of spray paint in their favorite color! Atleast it will be a family activity, original, and cheap! Lol.

I usually buy mine from Wholesale Auto Paints in Rogers, 479-631-1844. I think they have a store in Joplin or Springfield too, They are much cheaper on most paint, thinner, sandpaper, tack rags etc. than auto parts stores. But, I have also used TSC paint with good success, the good thing about Wholesale is sometimes they have a mixed paint that a Customer didn't pick up Etc, so they mark it down.

You might try calling car color in ft smith and just ask and see how much it would cost to get it there. And you can try body shop supplies on wheeler, those guys will usually cut ya a good deal. We used paint from atwoods on my car just about every year but im getting a good deal with dupont through my shop so thats what me and my brother are using on are cars this year.
