I COPIED THESE FROM MID SOUTH AND THEY DIDNT SOUND TO BAD. SOUNDS LIKE SLADES MOTOR. LOL

2. Alum. after market duelplane ("EDELBROCK PERFORMER type") intakes ALLOWED. NO MORE THAN 1" RISE or STOCK CASTIRON OR ALUM. intake OK. NO AIR GAP TYPE. NO PORTING OR POLISHING.
a. 2bbl. to 4bbl. adapter OK
b. Stock exhaust or headers OK, NO TRI Y ,NO 180 degree headers.
c. Cast 4 valve relief flat top or dished pistons only.
d. Stock GM 5.7,Ford 351w 5.955 max. length rods ONLY. Aftermarket rod bolts ALLOWED
e. 360 cu.in. with max. .060 max overbore OK.
f. Stock OEM castiron blocks only. NO AFTERMARKET BLOCKS ALLOWED.
g. NO STROKING OR DESTROKING ALLOWED
3. Gas ONLY, no alcohol.
4. ONE 1" SPACER between carb. & manifold allowed But not with 2bbl. to 4 bbl. adapter.(if adapter is used you "can't "also have a spacer!).1" total between carb. & manifold. The 1" measurement does not include the gaskets. but only one gasket will be allowed between carb. and adapt./spacer. And one between adapt./spacer and intake manifold.
5. After market alum. pulleys OK.
6. After market POWER STEERING PUMP /w remote tank OK. Quicksteer OK.
7. STOCK CASTIRON VORTEC or 300 HP (or lesser) TYPE STOCK OEM HEADS OK (GM 1.94" intake & 1.50" exhaust valves)(Ford 1.94" intake 1.65 exhaust valves)MAX. ONLY,NO angle plug or Alum.heads. 55cc min. chambers. Poly Locks OK.
8. Roller Rockers,Screw in studs, Stud girdles & guide plates OK. Stock dia. pushrods
9. Must pull 17 inches vacuum @ 1000 RPMs.Must have no more than 200 lbs. compression max.
a. Hydraulic Flat tappet CAMS & LIFTERS ONLY,NO ROLLER OR MUSHROOM CAMS. Lifters must be stock dia.for the block used. GM .842, Ford .874,& Chyr. .904 MAX.,No exceptions
10. IGNITIONS= NO MAGNETO TYPE DISTRIBUTORS ALLOWED. MSD,DUI,or stock type Ignitions OK

12. MECHANICAL(stock type) FUEL PUMPS IN STOCK LOCATION ONLY, NO ELECTRIAL OR BELT DRIVEN PUMPS ALLOWED.

14. 9" Ford rear end OK, floaters optional. NO QUICK CHANGE. MUST BE LOCKED EITHER BY WELDING,OR RUNNING A MINI SPOOL, OR FULL SPOOL. ABSOLUTELY NO TRACTION CONTROL Devices.e. GOLDEN TRACK, POSI-TRACK,LIMITED SLIP,Detroit Locker, WHAT SO EVER.
15. Brakes must have stock or stock replacement"" i.e. bought over the counter at parts store"" calipers & pads.
16. Steel explosion proof bell housing or safety blanket w/2" inspection slot in passenger side so tech. personnel can shine a flashlight in from outside car to check flywheel,clutch,& pressure plate will be required.
17. Std. 3 or 4 speed stock transmission OR stock Automatic only! NO Brinn,Bert,or Falcon or direct drive couplers allowed.NO LIGHTEN TRANS. ALLOWED i.e."(gears removed)". Hydraulic throwout bearing OR Hydraulic cylinder type OK.
a. All must have working forward & reverse gears.
b. Automatics must have working ( STOCK ) torque converters.
c. STOCK FLYWHEEL, 10 1/2" MIN. CLUTCH & PRESSURE PLATE ONLY.
18. DOT 60 series (275 max.) or IMCA PULLOFFs (.160" MAX. thread depth & must punch Min. 50 after the race) OK ,NO MIXING, GROOVING ALLOWED BUT MUST LEAVE 1" STRIP AROUND CENTER OF TIRE UNALTERED TO CHECK TREAD DEPTH, 8" steel wheels only. Bead locks on right side only.
19. IMCA body & chassis rules apply( unless otherwise listed on here).
a. Weight Limit is 2450 lbs. MIN. with the driver after the Feature race.
20. AN OPTIONAL 8" SPOILER WILL BE ALLOWED,( 8" SURFACE AMOUNT FROM BOTTOM TO TOP )
21. ANYTHING NOT COVERED IN THESE RULES MUST REMAIN "OEM" FACTORY STOCK.
22. THE TRACK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TEAR DOWN ANY MOTOR AT ANY TIME THEY FEEL IT TO BE NESSESARY!!
23. One 2" "STEEL" bodied shock per wheel, No coil overs allowed on the front. one additional shock allowed in the pullbar area. NO ADJ. TAKE APART OR SCHRADER VALVED SHOCKS ALLOWED.
24. No floating brake calipers.
25. MAJOR INFRACTIONS will carry a penalty of a TWO WEEK SUSPENION from racing in this class, a lose of points & money earned for the night.( A MAJOR INFRACTION is anything found to be illegal in the power train),( i.e. Engine, Transmission,clutch, pressure plate,flywheel,torque converter, & rearend).
26. MINOR INFRACTIONS will have to be fixed and or repaired before the next race. If the fix or repair does not occur the infraction will be considered a MAJOR INFRACTION "at the next race", with penalties that are listed in rule 25. First time participants may be allowed to run with some "minor infractions one night only( but must be repaired before the next race)" but WILL NOT be allowed to run with any MAJOR INFRACTIONS UNLESS AGREED ON IN THE DRIVERS MEETING by a majority of the drivers vote".
27. There will be a $150 motor protest fee to pull one head & be inspected.10% to track
28. There will be a $300 motor protest fee to pull one head & the oil pan & be inspected.10% to track
29. There will be a $100 protest fee to pull the transmission & check the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel,or torque converter. Also this will be the fee to protest the rear end.10% to track
30. There will be a $50 protest fee to pull and tech the Carburetor.
a. There will be a $350 BUY RULE on any Carburetor, Anyone finishing on the lead lap is eligible to exercise this right.
b. ANY DRIVER THAT HAS BEEN PROTESTED & FOUND TO BE "LEGAL" HAS THE OPTION TO TURN AROUND AND PROTEST THE DRIVER THAT PROTESTED HIM, with the fees & other protest rules applying within 10 min. of being declared LEGAL
31. ALL PROTEST MUST BE MADE IN WRITTING & CASH WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF THE FINISH OF THE FEATURE RACE.
32. Driver making the protest must finish ON THE LEAD LAP to be eligible to make a protest.
33. ALL SAFTY EQUIPMENT MUST BE UP TO DATE & IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.( i.e. HELMETS, NECK BRACE, GLOVES, 4 POINT HARNESS W/V Type SHOULDER STRAPS, A 5 POINT HARNESS OUTHERWISE, FULL FIRE RETARTANT RACING SUIT, FIRE EXTINGUISHER, AND KILL SWITCH EXCESSABLE BY THE DRIVER AND FROM OUTSIDE THE CAR, ROLLOVER VALVE ON THE FUEL CELL. Battery secured by bolts NO RATCHET STRAPS, BUNGIE CORDS or anything of that nature
