U just mad b/c you dont have one LOL Nope toooooooooo much power for dirt (at least for the mods in this area!)! Tracks are to small to use it! A good 410 (23 degree or 18 degree if you got a light foot) or smaller is plenty for any of the area tracks. The best motors being built are 392/3/5s (depending on bore size), 383, and 377. They seem to be what is really going fast around here. Then there is my poor old tired 350 that just keeps up! LMAO!

I know that its been a while since everyone was talking about the grooves at crawford but I am nearly sick of all the whinning and crying about there not being any grooves because there are. Im not taking up for the track at all but I know what is right and wrong. I raced there this past year and I started from the back in a bunch of situations and managed to get up to the top three several times and even won a few just during the heat races. To give a prime example, the last night, started fourth in feature and I passed everyone right on the very bottom and then I was taken out purposely by a lapped car on the final corner of the final lap. So I know there are plenty of grooves. Its all about setup not motor at CCS. I ended up wining 18 features this year and abunch of them I drawed nearly last and made it up to the front by the end of the night through the heats and features. Some of ya might know who I am now that are reguraly at CCS. Quit crying theres plenty of groves.

YOU HAVE A GOOD TEACHER TO LEARN FROM. YOU JUST NEED TO TAKE A FEW MORE NOTES AND LESSONS FROM HIM.

i think one thing that some guys are afraid to try different grooves. if you are not leading experiment and see if your car will make better laps running somewhere else on the track. alot of times at ccs you have to run high on one end and low on the other to make any headway.

some nights you have one groove and some nights you have multi grooves.a lot of it has to do with mother nature, some has something to do with the way the track is being preped,
