Gather together your fellow Modified racers & get ready for one more trip up north!
It's JAMBOREE TIME!!! 15th annual USMTS Featherlite Fall Jamboree Sep 19th-21st!!!
First date to remember: AUG 20TH! Enter by 8/20 and your entry fee is only $250. But there's more...
Introducing the 'Newbie' bonus! What's a newbie? A 'newbie' is someone who has never raced the Jamboree before. You get $100 for every buddy who enters the Jamboree with you who has never run it before. No limit. If you bring 6, you get $600! That simple.
Then there's purse. Simply outstanding. 3 complete shows with their own payouts each night for that ONE entry fee and 30 cars make the A-mains each night!
Night #1 - $3000 to win, $2000 for 2nd, then $1500, $1200, $1000....& $450 just to start! Miss the A & get $50 back.
But then you get to try 2 more times to make these:
Night #2 - $4000 to win, $2500 for 2nd, then $2000, $1500, $1200...& $550 JUST TO START! Miss the A & get another $50 back.
The grand finale, night #3 - $6000 to win, $4200 for 2nd, then $3200, $2700, $2300....& $900 JUST TO START! But that's not all...
The next 30 cars from the final nights' B mains go to a non-qualifiers' feature that pays (get this...) $2000 to win, $1500 for 2nd, then $1000, $800, $700....$400 just to start! Miss both the A & non-qualifiers' race & get $100 back.
If you race all 3 nights AND don't make any of the A-mains nor Saturday's non-qualifiers' race, you get a $200 bonus which means that EVERYONE who runs all three nights at the Jamboree is going home with no less than $400 back. (Bring 4 'newbies' along and you can double that to $800!)
On the up side, just making all three 30-car A-mains...guaranteed, combined $1900 just to start! Then climb up the ladder of those great paydowns for more $$$ or just sweep all 3 A-main wins and take home $13,000! But it never seems to stop there at Deer Creek, no sir! No guarantees of course, but in the past, there's always a sponsor or 2 hanging around Deer Creek Speedway who add to the purse. In fact, I have yet to see a Jamboree at Deer Creek in the last 5 years that didn't end up PAYING MORE than what was originally posted.
Then there's always the great facility & track to race on up there in Spring Valley located in the southeastern corner of Minnesota. It's a full-time track for as long as the season allows up there. No part time stuff at DCS! They have every piece of equipment you can imagine for working a dirt track and they know what to do with all of it! I love calling my home track, Ark-La-Tex Speedway, the Land of 3-wide, but Deer Creek may be one of the few in the country where they consistently go 4-wide on a great, SMOOTH racing surface. And Modified racers....YOU are the #1 headline attraction up there! NOT Late Models & NOT Sprint Cars. The crowds at Deer Creek Speedway love their Modified racing. All you need to do is go up there once and you'll see why!
So...whatchya waitin' for? Grab a bank card, call the USMTS office at 515-832-7944 and get entered. A USMTS license is NOT required to run this race. USMTS rules in effect. Any exceptions to those rules are stated on the entry form. You can print out, fill out and fax the entry form to 515-832-7958 as well.
Gather up some newbies & come on up before the freeze!!! PS - It will not be 100 degrees!!!
